This hat is modeled after the hat from the movie "Mongol". This is my own pattern developed from documentation of the Mongolian Shepherd's hat.

Full beautiful fur on this hat. This hat is a historical replica of an original. Two of my Mongol hats have been in a commercial and museums.

I only use the best of reclaimed  furs for my hats! I do not use rabbit because it sheds and rabbit is not the best fur. The rabbit furs that you see around for sale are meat rabbits and the furs are not good enough to be used on my hats.

Fur, leather and wool are biodegradable resources.

Synthetics are generally made from petroleum (a non-renewable resource), which is NOT consistent with the sustainable use of our environment. The production, transportation and disposal of petrochemicals can cause environmental problems.

By using recycled materials from natural resources we help to reduce waste.
